LET GO AND LET GOD
Cried out to me as I felt the Holy Spirit nudged me to not fight back, but to let go.

The pain, heartache, and disappointment that you feel want you to build a wall that keeps you guarded but sometimes, that wall serves an obstacle not only from people getting to your heart, but from God carrying you the way He wants to in this storm.

Letting go also means to have faith that God is able to shelter you in the storm. You won’t need to build walls from your own strength, all you need to do is let go of having control not over the situation but over you. Give Him your emotions, connect intimately with Him and feel His peace embrace you.

Psalm 23:5 "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies."

Because pride would make me feel as though I am royalty, I'm up there, when you told me that I should love my enemies, that I should deny myself, that I should love my neighbor as myself.

It's not about me. I want them to sit and eat with me, partake of your love with me, your mercy, your goodness. My enemies need some of this too.
After all, you died for all of us.

Religion looks so normal when it's rooted in cultures and traditions.

People are going to church for years and are still where they were on day one.

But God wants more: intimacy, relationship. Let us live life with God.

I know something is not right with me when I just

I know something is not right with me when I just don't want to talk at all, and further, don't want to pray. It's in times like these that the Holy Spirit reminds me, "you don't need to 'want' to do it but pray because that's where your victory lies".

"Pray without ceasing" was not a joke when written. The minute I back down and pray once a day, the enemy gains ground, and he shows it to me.
What he doesn't know is, I am convinced that God works everything for my good.

So, when I don't have words, better believe I'll be praying in tongues, thanking God, worshipping... all kinds of prayers and supplications. I'm building spiritual muscle (that's the image I just got)

Prayer--> completes the whole armor of God. So, PRAY MORE!!!
